About the Course
The AZ-104: Microsoft Azure Administrator course equips IT professionals with the practical skills needed to confidently manage and operate Microsoft Azure environments.
In this training, you will learn how to manage Azure subscriptions and resources, secure and govern identities, deploy and maintain virtual machines, configure virtual networks, and connect Azure to on-premises environments. You’ll also gain hands-on experience in managing storage solutions, implementing web apps and containers, controlling network traffic, backing up data, and monitoring performance to ensure high availability and security.
By the end of the course, you’ll be prepared to handle the day-to-day responsibilities of an Azure Administrator in real-world cloud environments.
Target Audience
This course is for Azure Administrators. The Azure Administrator implements, manages, and monitors identity, governance, storage, compute, and virtual networks in a cloud environment. The Azure Administrator will provision, size, monitor, and adjust resources as appropriate. Successful Azure Administrators start this role with experience in virtualization, networking, identity, and storage.
Pre-requisites
Before enrolling for this training program, you must ensure you have:
Understanding of on-premises virtualization technologies, including: VMs, virtual networking, and virtual hard disks.
Understanding of network configurations, including TCP/IP, Domain Name System (DNS), virtual private networks (VPNs), firewalls, and encryption technologies.
Understanding of Active Directory concepts, including users, groups, and role-based access control.
Understanding of resilience and disaster recovery, including backup and restore operations.
